Great laptop stand

If you are shooting by yourself or in tight places, you might consider getting one of these great laptop stands. Here at Image Mechanics we use it for extreme locations and portability. It is well balanced with a rubber mat that grips the laptop and there are several cool attachments.

Laptop Stand

I dislike having to shoot to laptop and consider it a last resort when a full tower workstation isn’t practical (you would be surprised how often we can make it practical). I have used this stand at the beach and on Golf courses. It also comes in handy for annual report situations where you are running and gunning. With that being said, I have a new found appreciation for this stand after using it backstage during the Victoria Secret Fashion show. It allowed me to set up in a very small area and keep the CF cards that Linda Posnick was shooting loaded and processing. Turn around time was a major factor for a job like this and it was already an 18 hour day. Did I mention that I was backstage at the Victoria Secret show?
